Coronavirus (COVID-19) Member Update - March 17th 2020

Dear Member

As the situation around the Covid19 continues to evolve at a rapid pace the Club are constantly looking at what the best options are for the wellbeing of our members and staff. The Officers of the Club have discussed the next steps for the Club in light of the current advice from the Government and below is a summary of the actions that have been agreed. These measures will come into effect as of close of business today and will be kept under review until March 31st.

• The clubhouse will be closed from close of business today. No Food & Beverage offering will be available during the period of closure.
• The locker room and caddy car store will be open from 07:30 to 17:00.
• The showers will be out of service and all towels will be removed.
• The links will remain open for casual play only.
• Please phone the office to book a tee time on both the Championship and Annesley courses to allow us to record the names of those members playing golf.
• No visitors or guests will be permitted to the club.
• Any members who have returned from travels overseas in the last 14 days are asked to please refrain from visiting the club for at least 14 days from the date they returned to Ireland.
• The on-course toilet will be closed.
• Juniors under the age 18 will not be permitted on the grounds of the club unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• The Pro Shop will remain open and this will be kept under daily review.
• The office will be closed to everyone, including members, and contact can be made via phone or email.
• Members are asked not to remove or tend the flag while on the golf course.
• Bunker rakes have been removed and placing in the bunkers is permitted.
• The main gates to the Club will be closed at 7.00 pm each day.

All our club policies and procedures will be kept under review as we closely follow the updates from the HSE and Government Departments to ensure we are taking the necessary steps to ensure the wellbeing of all those who visit the Club. 

I would advise everyone to regularly check the Gov.uk website and the HSE for updates which outlines measures that are being taken.  

We will continue to keep the members informed as the situation changes.
