Championship Links Course

Hole 7

The shortest hole on the course, but requiring great skill to find the target.
The green is protected by a deep bunker at the front, several small pot bunkers at the rear and a large gathering bunker to the left of the green. The target area on the green is the front right hand quarter and the ball must stop quickly, as anything turning or bouncing off the steep slope to the left of the pin is almost certain to be swallowed up by the bunker left.
There is a severe drop off to the back right for any shot hit too long. Under clubbing to the right and short of this green can mean the next shot being played from the 13th tee.
Missing this green always leaves a difficult up and down.
